Saturdays, October to MarchSaturday is our major competition day. Through the summer season we field teams in Division 1, Division 5 and Division 7, so there's a level for everyone.
Bowls Victoria Metro Pennant
Competitive Bowls
Auburn Bowls Club has a long history of competitive lawn bowls, and we continue to strive to excel at every event we enter.
We compete in the Bowls Victoria Metro Pennant competitions, with three teams in Saturday Pennant and teams in Midweek Pennant on Tuesdays and Thursdays. In winter we play in the Yarra Region Inner City Winter Pennant on Saturdays.
Midweek Pennant
Tuesdays and Thursdays, summerOur midweek pennant teams play throughout summer: a Division 4 side on Tuesdays, and two teams on Thursdays.
Winter Pennant
Saturdays, winterIn the winter months we enter the Yarra Region Inner City Winter Pennant competition. It's a more relaxed way to play in a competitive environment.
Wednesday Social
Wednesdays, 1pm – 3pmA social game with fellow club members. It's a great way to meet other bowlers, and stay for a social drink afterwards.
Our greens
We have two bowling greens: one of tiff dwarf grass and one of Tiger synthetic. Members are out bowling most days of the week, and there's plenty of room for barefoot bowls and school groups too.
